The Memories of KTM Railway in Singapore: Bukit Timah Station

Bukit Timah Station located near to King Albert's Park and Ngee Ann Poly. It used to be busy station during the UK Colony time.

When the government announced that the Bukit Timah and Tanjong Pagar station will be creased operational effective 1st July 2011, many people travelled all the way to Bukit Timah Station just to capture the moment before the tracks are dismantled and return back to KTM.

Many of us did not get the chance to travel to Malaysia by railway in Singapore. What left behind are Bukit Timah Railway Bridge, the station, 10% of the railway tracks and some fond memories which some of you might have.

The station was fenced up to prevent people from entering and damage the property as it is now part of the conservation building in Singapore.

I also took a scroll walk along the Bukit Timah railway tracks to capture the special moment and the beautiful scenery!
