You just got your Android smartphone and realised that your phone equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) enable function. But, you are uncertainly and not sure how to use this NFC function.

Basically NFC allows you to transfer information between your phone and other NFC devices. For example, you can use NFC to make a payment at local supermarket (Cold Storage Group), Taxi (Comfort Delgro) to collect Movie ticket (SHAW).

You can also use the EZLINK NFC app to make a payment anywhere which supported EZLINK NFC transaction (Popeyes Chicken). You need to get NFC SIM CARD from your various network provider in order to support NFC function!

What more, you can use your NFC enable phone and tap into NFC supported speaker to play your favourite song list, or tap the device to activate your watch or anything which you had set.

There is one app in the market which I would highly recommend you! The app is known as 'Samsung TecTiles'. But first of all, you need to get Samsung TecTiles pack first at any Samsung shop.

Do not worry if you are not using Samsung NFC phone, as this Samsung TecTiles supported any NFC smartphone models in the market.

How does Samsung TecTiles works?

Tap PLAY STORE in your smartphone, then type Samsung TecTiles (Free App).
Then, download to your Android smartphone.
After downloading the Samsung TecTiles.
Zap the app to open the app.
You will see the Samsung TecTiles main menu.

Create your own Task by tapping New Task.
I will name it as Game. Then tap OK.

Then the screen will direct you to page, where it stated No actions. Tap Add to create a new task.

It will direct you a page known as 'Select actions'.
I tapped on Application.

It will direct you a page where it shown all your apps which you download it to your smartphone.
So, I tap Tapped out.

It will shown which action you had selected.
Tap write to tag to activate your Samsung TecTiles Sticker.

Place your Samsung TecTiles sticker and hold the back of your smartphone for the tag to write.
You are done with your Samsung TecTiles.

So next time, you just need to tag the Samsung TecTiles sticker to activate the application which you had set!

Christmas 2013 in Singapore

During the month of November to December, many tourists and the local will flocked over to the famous Orchard Road to catch the Annual Christmas light up and to feel the tropics Christmas atmospheres in Singapore.

This year, the theme for Orchard Road Christmas light up theme will be known as 'Christmas on A Great Street'. The designer designed such a way that it look like a diamonds and stars glittering high up onto the street of Orchard Road.

Orchard Road Association organised Best Dressed Building contest, where the management of the shopping mall need to decorate their mall and the members of the public need to vote for their favourite christmas decoration in the shopping mall.

Most of the major Shopping complex participated in Orchard Road Association Best Dressed Building contest. At Orchard Central (OC), their theme will be 'OC Christmas Town Square'.

Most of their Christmas decorations are made of recycled materials and environment friendly. When you are at OC, you can feel that you are stepping into wonderland.

If you are hungry or would like to eat dessert, you can drop by to Cold Stone Creamer from United States with your love one which is located at ground floor. You will definitely love eating ice cream and enjoy this special moment!

Centre Point is the oldest shopping mall in Somerset, which locate opposite OC also decorated the Christmas lighting. Their theme known as  'Wintry Wonderland'.

For Wintry Wonderland, many children's and adults would enjoy it as Centre Point installed a foam system which looked like snowing in the tropics weather of Singapore.

While walking around the Orchard Area, you will get to see the beautiful Christmas scenery that are being decorated. If you are lucky enough, you also get to see people performed in the busiest street of Orchard Road.

While walking around the Orchard Road, you will see many people queuing for ice Cream? You should try the local ice-cream street vendor! Where can you find ice cream street vendor in Tourist attractions district in the world?

Just follow 4 simple step in buying ice cream from the street vendor.

Firstly, choose the ice cream flavour that you want to eat or you can choose traditional ice cream if available.

Secondly, you can choose to eat it with sandwich biscuit, Traditional bread or plastic cup.

Thirdly, pay SGD$1.

Finally, enjoy the ice cream.
