Fullerton Bay Hotel, Singapore

If you are looking for  rich heritage area or sea-view to stay while you are in singapore, I strongly recommend 'The Fullerton Bay Hotel'.

The Fullerton Bay Hotel is a Five star luxury hotel located in the heart of Marina Bay waterfront and a rich heritage site.

It is also part of the One Fullerton Expansion together with the iconic building from the UK colony, The Fullerton Hotel (Former Post Office Headquarter), The Fullerton Waterboat House, The Fullerton Pavilion, One Fullerton, Clifford Pier and Custom House.

The Fullerton Bay Hotel is very convenience to roam around as the hotel near to Raffles Place MRT (Metro/Subway) Station and walkable to many attraction places and shopping district.

From the hotel, you can walk to The Merlion Park, The Esplanade Park, The Esplanade, Clarke Quay (Pub/Entertainment) district, The Central, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, Raffles City, Suntec City Mall and many more.

Do you know that Fullerton Bay Hotel has a rich histories? The Clifford Pier and Customs Harbour Branch Building are part of the Fullerton Bay Hotel and its' restaurant.

Clifford Pier was built in 1933. The Clifford Pier used to be busy and popular place as it was a landing point for immigrants and other Sea passengers. Many immigrants called this place as Hong Deng Ma Tuo 紅燈碼頭 in Chinese. Which mean Red Lamp Pier as a red oil lamp used to hang from the the pier.

Clifford Pier was later used as a ferry terminal to ferry visitors to Southern island of Singapore like Pulua Kusu, St John island and etc.

In the 1969, Customs Harbour Branch Building was built beside Clifford Pier as it was tasked with watching over the busiest harbours.

Do you know that Clifford Pier used to have outdoor food centre along the riverside where you can find good food before it closed in the early 90's due to hygiene purpose.

In the year of 2006, Clifford Pier and Customs Harbour Branch building turned into conservation and at the same time, it built The fullerton Bay Hotel and fully operates on 8th July 2010.

I simply loved the Hotel room at The Fullerton Bay and you definitely would agreed with me! If you decided to stay, you must request for sea-view room during the non-peak seasons or book it early to avoid disappointment.

When I entered to the room, it was so posh, classic and yet elegant. It also attached with the porch where I can see the sea-view of Marina Bay Scenery and the Marina Stadium.

I loved their hidden treasure! When you open the First drawer, you can able to see the hotel room remote control where you can adjust the sound from Bose speaker dock, the brightness of the light and the room temperature. When you open the Second drawer, you can find the Safe deposit box!

If you are coffee or tea lover, you will definitely loved the beverage corner. The hotel used the Nespresso Capsule coffee maker to brew your coffee and they also provided differences size of cup for your coffee.

For Tea lover, the hotel provided Tea bags from Gryphon Tea Company. You can comfortably brew your own tea in the hotel room. What more, they are free complimentary throughout your hotel stay.

The restroom is very important to me as well. It is a see through restroom separated by glass. If you want your privacy, you can press the button and the curtain will be rolling down.

The restroom also fixed with Shower tub with a build in Television where you can watch the show while you are shower!

If you are here for Business Travel, you really must take a look at Fullerton Bay Hotel! They provided Work station desk for you. It also provided compliment internet (WIFI/LAN) for your usage throughout your stay.

If you are fortunate enough, You can catch the live performance from the stadium during the Singapore National Day, New Year Eve or any major event!

You will loved the scenery at night when the building light up! You can take a walk and relaxing yourself while you are in Singapore!
